Let us face it. It is hard to get yourself jump-started on the 21 Day Fix Program if you don’t know what to eat ahead of time. Compared to dinner, lunchtime is quite difficult to figure out, and it is very easy to find yourself eating junk food during this time. If you are already following the 21 Day Fix Program, you have nothing to worry to about. Here are some lunch ideas you may consider when you are following this program:
1. English Muffin Mini Pizzas
You need two whole wheat English muffins, a purple of sauce, a blue container of mozzarella cheese, and your favorite seasoning to prepare this meal. You will need to divide cheese and sauce evenly, split the English muffins, and top with your favorite seasoning before baking the cheese.
If you have extra containers, you can add other toppings for yourself or your family. You may consider these toppings ideas: onions, mushrooms, ground turkey, peppers, ground turkey sausage, chicken, turkey bacon etc.
2. Buffalo Chicken Wraps
To prepare this meal, you need one chicken breast, a yellow worth of wraps, one blue container cheese, and any sauce that the book approves. All you need to do is to cut up the chicken breast, mix the sauce and the chicken pieces, put the mixture into your wrap, add cheese, and warm the wrap until the cheese melts.
3. Pecan Crusted Chicken Strips
To prepare this meal you need one chicken breast, two slices of wheat bread, two containers of pecans (blue), a quarter cup Dijon mustard, and one tsp honey. You will need to chop pecans and bread in a food processor, slice the chicken breast, put together honey and Dijon mustard, coat the chicken strip in a mustard-honey mixture, and place the chicken strips on a rack for approximately forty minutes. You can serve this meal alongside vegetables if you feel like.
4. Chicken salad
This meal is very easy to prepare. You need ingredients such as diced celery stalks, diced cooked chicken, plain green yogurt, pita pocket, Dijon mustard, raw kale, one tsp of sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Once you have all the ingredients, mix them and you will be good to go. You can serve it with veggies if you feel like.
5. Veggie burgers
To prepare this meal you need dried lentils, three cups of water, olive oil, minced garlic, diced red onion, tomato paste, chopped walnuts, liquid smoke, red wine, portabella mushroom caps, balsamic vinegar, vital wheat gluten, and wheat gluten. Veggie burgers have a long list of ingredients, but you should not be worried about that. This meal guarantees good results, especially if you are following the 21 Day Fix Program.
6. Chicken baked sweet potatoes
To prepare this meal, you need ingredients such as sweet potatoes, olive oil, fresh lime juice, minced chipotle peppers, dried oregano, cumin, chili powder, salt, skinless and boneless chicken breast, Greek yogurt, spinach, chopped cilantro, and white cedar cheese.
